Impacting Lives using our advocacy campaign, we aim to provide significant environmental solutions that improve marginalized communities, reduce carbon footprint while Cycling serves as a potent symbol of our environmental commitment, our program not only demonstrates our commitment to greener and cleaner transportation system for sustainable future, but it also helps strengthen the ability of marginalized communities by giving them the tools they need to thrive in a changing global environment.
This underscores the launch of our cycling advocacy tour to southwest region in 2023 to have regional understanding of the climate context
The 23 days cycling advocacy tour across south western states of Nigeria on zero carbon emission via Bicycle Cycling was inspired by the Kyoto protocol treaty of 1997 and the Paris agreement 2015 on climate Action, it was driven by patriotism, enthusiastic and passion, to create awareness using advocacy as an imperative tools under the auspices of Climate Rider NG, an initiative of Netzero Climate Sustainability Initiative, a vibrant advocacy group based in Abuja FCT Nigeria.

Upon empirical fact gathered, we observe minimal or no awareness in local communities and issues of inequality was at the bane, we are announcing a new Mission theme: (Social Inclusion for climate action across the local government of Nassarawa state Nigeria in 2025), we would be spotlighting Mining, gender response to climate, land degradation and Agriculture.
We realized how fast our climate is changing and the possible rise in global mean temperature above the threshold of 2°C in few decades from now with every year becoming the hottest on records in recent time, also the excessive use of fossil fuel in our transportation system, manufacturing, energy generation and consumption which releases tremendous amount of dangerous heat trapping greenhouse gases(GHGs) to the atmosphere, and other anthropogenic activities that aid the acceleration and ramifications of climate change in our societies, e.g. Carbon and Methane emissions, we needed to get a regional firsthand information of the efforts of States/local government and the grassroots on tackling the climate crises to start with, as well create awareness on the crisis, hence it is our collective responsibility to build resilience through mitigation, adaptation and collaboration, as we are all affected directly and indirectly, so I geared up and got on my bicycle after months of careful planning…
