What We Represent
As a vibrant youth led initiative with dedication to a fair and equitable energy transition to Netzero, the Netzero Climate Sustainability Initiative aims to empower communities while advancing Sustainability at all levels.
At Netzero, we use empirical fact and research to drive policy changes, promote renewable energy and environmental sustainability to influence governance procedures to produce significant development, and strengthen local communities’ ability to adapt in the face of climate change.
Our Mission
Our mission is to deliver impactful environmental solutions that uplift vulnerable communities, Impacting Lives through our Climate Rider NG. We use cycling as a powerful demonstration of our commitment to environment; our initiative not only showcase our dedication to a sustainable transport nor greener future but also contribute to building the capacity of vulnerable communities, by empowering them to prosper in a changing environment context.

Changing the Narrative
Through our advocacy efforts, we have shifted the narrative around cycling beyond just exercising and fun seeking to a potent symbol of an environmental and energy commitment tool that influence policy discussions, informed dialogue that will deliver impactful climate governance. This initiative has resulted to the formation of presidential initiative on compressed natural gas (PCNG-I) in 2023, to transit to clean energy in the transport system and also as a palliative measure for the removal of fuel subsidy.
Our Climate Riding goals is to strengthen community resilience, increase awareness, and ensuring that local populations are equipped to mitigate and adapt to the challenges of climate change, we are dedicated to making a measurable impact in the struggle against climate change to reduce our emission and keep the temperature below 1.5°C on one pedal stroke at a time.
By working together, we can implement significant policy reform, provide effective climate governance, and increase local communities’ ability to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change.
